Woven Wood Shades are made from natural woven materials that softly diffuse sunlight. Privacy and Blackout Liners may be added to increase your privacy while reducing or eliminating light.  The valance adds to the finished appearance and completely covers the control mechanisms.  The standard height for the valance is 7".  Variations in color, grain, texture and warpage are natural and should not be considered to be defective. Over time, the color will soften in the sun to a mild, golden tone.  We recommend that multiple shade orders of the same pattern be placed at one time.

Woven wood shades, which are often called bamboo shades or bamboo blinds, offer an exotic, natural look and are a great way to add a textured, casual look.  Woven wood shades are available in a wide variety of natural materials like bamboo, grasses, reeds, matchsticks and wood planks, often woven together with man-made materials like ropes and twine.

Woven woods have many options to choose from. 

To lift the woven woods up and down you can use the standard cords, cord loop mechanism, or cordless.  You can have top down bottom up, which makes privacy not an issue because you can adjust the shades wherever you need them.

Woven woods can have different liners on the back of the shade.  It can be light filtering to room darkening.  Different colors of liners can make matching the outside of your house very easy.  This is an example of some of the options you can have.

The time of the year is an improtant element to remember when; ording these natural shades and in particular Bamboo. If the bamboo is harvested during the rainy season it will appear greenish in color. If harvested during the dry season it will appear golden and this is all in every manufacturer's disclaimer about "being a natural product and color may vary by season".
